Focus: The Gateway to Your Dreams
Reading time: 4 minutes
If you’re reading this...
I already know you have big dreams.
There’s a reason why you’re here, reading tweets and newsletters, while your friends are scrolling on TikTok.
Look, I love my friends.
But they won’t ever achieve anything meaningful.
How do I know?
The average attention has dropped to 2.7 minutes.
(for Gen Z)
And a short attention span makes it impossible to pour energy into anything meaningful.
Aka realizing your dreams.
Anything worth achieving requires sustained attention.
You see...
Focus is the starting point for manifestation.
Here’s how it works:
Attention
↓
Vibration
↓
Frequency
↓
Reality
Attention is the starting point of vibration.
Vibration, when it gains energetic momentum, becomes a frequency.
And frequency is the immaterial version of reality.
Every frequency must become a reality.
And every reality is a frequency.
The key?
Maintaining that frequency for long enough.
That’s the only way it materializes.
If you don’t, it won’t work.
Why?
Here’s an example:
If you keep switching between your old self and your new self, your old self will always win.
When facing adversity...
Your automatic reaction will always come from your old identity.
That version of you has years of conditioning behind it.
The new version?
It’s still fragile.
But...
If you keep your focus, your new self will grow stronger.
I’ve experienced this myself.
I’m a completely different than I was a year ago.
I was:
Addicted to cheap dopamine
Never consistent with anything
The least disciplined person I knew
But I had big ambitions.
My old identity didn’t match those ambitions.
One had to go.
I tried everything to change:
I read Atomic Habits and applied it.
I made agreements with myself.
I tried to find a balance.
None of it worked.
Because my new identity was to fragile and my old one was too strong.
If I engaged in one bad habit...
The others followed.
I knew it had to be all or nothing.
Then I came across the concept called Monk Mode.
And I gave it a shot.
I experimented with different lengths:
30 days
60 days
90 days
But the same thing kept happening:
Distractions popped up.
Friends invited me to play video games, go to festivals, or smoke weed.
Even when I said no...
I caught myself thinking about what I’d do after Monk Mode ended.
My focus was on my old habits.
And the more I neared the end, the stronger that focus became.
So when it was over...
I relapsed.
And I was right back where I started.
After 5 failed attempts, I tried a different approach.
I made a new agreement with myself:
I’d sacrifice my old habits until I reached my goal.
The goal?
$10k/month.
This shifted my focus from what I COULDN’T do to what I HAD to do.
And instantly, I felt a sense of peace within.
That’s when I discovered the power of focus.
‘’Wherever attention goes, energy flows.’’
Focus is either your greatest friend or your worst enemy.
If you keep thinking about bad habits, you direct energy into them.
Keep that focus long enough, and it WILL become your reality.
Remember:
Attention
↓
Vibration
↓
Frequency
↓
Reality
But I found a way to make it work for me.
I shifted my attention to the tasks that mattered.
I did everything I could to improve my focus.
Then I protected it like it was my firstborn child.
The results spoke for themselves.

My journey from that point wasn’t flawless.
There were moments when I binge-watched YouTube videos.
But I didn’t fall back into my old identity.
I focused on regaining focus.
And so I did.
The more I focus, the stronger my new identity becomes.
Now, all I have to do?
Maintain that frequency for long enough until it becomes reality.
It’s already happening.
It’s just a matter of time.
Thank you for reading!
This one was more personal than usual.
I hope you still found value in it.
