How to Maximize Your Time and Energy
Are you working a 9-5 and trying to become full-time creator?
You’re in for a tough ride.
This transition period is probably the most difficult part of your journey.
Time and energy are limited.
But these are the exact things you need to build momentum.
Without momentum...
You can say goodbye to your goals.
So how do we make it work?
You need 3 things:
Effectiveness
Efficiency
Focus
Even with limited time and energy...
These 3 pillars help you make the most of it.
You need to balance all 3.
You won’t succeed if one of them is missing.
Here is how to do it:

Effectiveness
You’ve heard it before:
‘’Don’t work hard; work smart.’’
But the truth is, you need both.
Working hard is about input.
Working smart is about leverage.
Input x Leverage = Success.
For those of us working 9-5 jobs, input is limited.
That’s why increasing our leverage is crucial.
This is where the Pareto-principle comes in:
80% of results come from 20% of actions.

Your job is to find those 20%
Here’s how:
Be crystal clear on your goal.
Break it down using first principle thinking.
Identify the essentials and cut out the fluff.
Turn those essentials into tasks.
Pick the 5 tasks that move the needle the most.
Go all-in on those.
Break each task into smaller, actionable steps.
Effectiveness is about doing the right things.
Without it...
Your hard work won’t lead anywhere.

Efficiency
Think back to when you started your 9-5.
You didn’t know what to do.
Someone showed you their system.
Over time, that system became routine.
The more you followed it, the easier it got.
Eventually, you made it your own.
Improving both speed and quality.
This is the power of efficiency.
When you work for yourself, there’s no one to teach you a system.
That’s both a pro and a con:
Pros:
You can design your system to your liking.
You’re able to refine it at any moment.
Cons:
You have to figure it out on your own.
You won’t get feedback on it.
But you’re not entirely alone.
Creators like me can guide you. :)
Here’s what you do:
Take all of the actions from the effectiveness section and turn them into a system.
Make a weekly timetable that includes:
Your tasks
Responsibilities
Rest
Here’s an example:

Your first draft doesn’t have to be perfect.
Mine changed 5 times in 2 months.
Don’t guess what works—test it.
If something doesn’t work, change it.
Even if it does work, always look for ways to improve.
Remember:
There’s always a better way.
Experimentation will help you find it.
Focus
This is where everything comes together.
Focus is a force multiplier.
Everyone has the same amount of time in a day.
What separates people is their ability to focus.
Time x Focus = Productivity.

So, how do you focus?
By not being distracted.
This is where the mental model of inversion comes in:
‘’The easiest way to achieve something is through it’s opposite.’’
There are 2 types of distractions:
External
Internal
External distractions are the things happening around you.
We’re evolutionary wired to react to them.
Remove as many as possible:
Turn off notifications
Clean your desk
Use headphones in noisy environments
Internal distractions are harder to deal with.
Thoughts, emotions, and desires pull your attention away.
This is where focus comes into play.
You’ve already built a system around your priorities.
Now, laser-focus on that system.
Remove EVERYTHING else.
Don’t try to make this sustainable by taking breaks.
That only brings more noise.
The key is to do less.
Remove variables from your life.
That video game you love?
It has to go.
Your favorite series?
It has to go.
Partying with friends?
It has to go.
The fewer distractions, the less friction you’ll face.
Only keep your non-negotiables:
Health
Relationships
Peace of mind
You don’t have to give up the things you enjoy forever.
But sacrifice them until you hit your goal:
Becoming a full-time creator.
Endnote
This transition period isn’t easy.
But wouldn’t you rather get through it as quickly as possible?
With the right focus,
I believe you can make the transition in 3-6 months.
Those parties, series and games will still be there when you’re done.
Is the sacrifice worth it?
Only you can decide.
I’ve given you the blueprint to achieve your goal.
You can follow it on your own.
But if you don’t have the time and energy to figure it all out...
I’m here to help.
I’ve created a 4-week program where we’ll walk step-by-step through this process.
Here’s what we’ll do:
Discover your highest-leverage tasks.
Build an airtight system tailored to you.
Achieve sustainable laser-focus
You’ll never be stopped by distractions again.
Consistency and discipline will feel effortless.
